How is Blue Mode different from regular Flex Mode?

As you know, accept your first trip in a trip and get paid per trip in ViaVan Flex Mode. ViaVan Blue Mode has a few important differences:

Drive with ViaVan ONLY. For this promotion, double apping is not allowed. It is very important to complete every pickup and follow the directions in the ViaVan app, even when no passenger is on board.

You will not have the option to reject rides. For the Blue Mode Promotion, rides are assigned by the system. As soon as you have a ViaVan ride, please head directly to the pickup. It is not acceptable to pick up passengers from other platforms while participating in the Via Blue Mode promotion.

When you start driving in Blue Mode, you will see directions to a “terminal.” This is a waiting area where the system predicts there will be demand. Follow the directions to the terminal and press I’m Here when you arrive. If you are assigned a ride on your way to the terminal, follow the directions to the pickup. Though Blue Mode begins at 18:00 pm, you’ll be able to log on a little early to see your first terminal.

Hourly payment begins when you press “I’m Here” at your first terminal or your first ride is assigned.

Payment time will end when you end shift or pause when you take a break in the app. Break time will not count towards the 4+ hours needed to unlock the higher hourly rate.
