ViaVan is providing you with a Schiphol Airport STA Pass (the “Pass”) as part of its services to you, in order to allow you to pick up riders at the airport through the ViaVan platform. The Pass is branded with a ViaVan sticker for convenience, so that you are able to recognize it. You are accepting this Pass willingly. You have no obligation to accept or use this Pass, and may return it to ViaVan at any time. However, from the moment you accept this Pass and take possession of it, you accept the following Terms and Conditions.
This Pass may be used to enter Pick-up Lane A, only when you have accepted to pick up a rider at Schiphol Airport through the ViaVan app.
This Pass also provides access to the parking zone (P41). You are free to use this parking zone at your own cost.
You agree that ViaVan will deduct a 50 euro deposit from your earnings in order to secure your possession and use of the Pass.
The remaining amount of the deposit will be refunded to you if you decide to return the Pass to ViaVan at any time at the ViaVan driver center.
If your relationship with ViaVan is terminated for any reason, you must immediately return the Pass to ViaVan, and the remaining amount of your deposit will be refunded to you.
Misuse of the Pass can result in the loss of your deposit. When any deductions are made from your deposit (see below), ViaVan reserves the right to deduct further amounts from your earnings in order to obtain a 50 euro deposit again.
Costs and Charges
You acknowledge that ViaVan has an obligation to limit at all times the number of drivers using Passes provided by ViaVan to enter the pick-up lane. Therefore, using the Pass to access the pick-up lane without a relevant ViaVan pick-up accepted by you is not a permitted use of the Pass and will lead to a charge of 11 euro per occurrence, or a pass-through of all costs charged to ViaVan for this use, whichever is higher.
You are responsible for all costs incurred on the pick-up lane (other than reasonable costs associated with a ViaVan pick-up), including but not limited to the costs of towing away a car that has been parked on the pick-up lane for more than two hours.
All applicable charges may be deducted from your deposit and your weekly earnings.
Suspension and Termination
Any violation of these Terms and Conditions can result in immediate suspension or disaffiliation from the ViaVan platform.
ViaVan and Axxicom both have the right to suspend or deactivate the Pass and suspend or terminate your access to the pick-up lane at any time for any reason, including a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Upon ViaVan’s request for any reason (including a violation of these terms and conditions), you must promptly return the Pass at the ViaVan driver center. If you do not return the Pass, ViaVan reserves the right to charge you a lost STA pass fee.
Additional Axxicom Terms and Conditions – you will abide by the following rules set by Axxicom:
You may only access the Parking zone (P41) by using the Pass.
You can only access the pick up-lane by presenting the Pass to the card reader at the beginning of the pick-up lane.
When leaving the pick-up lane, you must present the Pass to the card reader placed at the end of the pick up lane.
You may only park on the spot indicated in the ViaVan app.
When using the parking zone (P41), you must abide by all local rules of good conduct and leave the parking zone in a clean state.
You must behave professionally and appropriately at all times and, upon request, will identify yourself as ViaVan Driver Partner when using any of the STA facilities.
You must use the designated pick-up lane (Pick-up Lane A) when picking up a passenger from Schiphol.
